I wrote yesterday about how reading books not only put me on this path of following my dreams and consistently being happy but it got me through some shitty times.
When I'm growing my mindset and feeding myself with the words of people far more successful than me and a lot farther in life than I am, I know that I'm doing the right thing.
Books are like the string between what you want to be and what you are right now. They are what can take you from a 6 to a 10, they can fuel your life into this tremendous beautiful reality.
I know it's a habit and that it's not for everyone but if you aren't reading books you're missing out on so much knowledge that can literally change your life forever. You're missing out on the thoughts and ideas that made an average Joe into a billionaire. You're starving your mind of new insights that could change everything for you.
I've had a few people say to me, "I wish I knew what you know when I was your age."
I take a serious pride in that. I didn't start out this way. I've read a lot and tested out a lot to figure out what it is I want to do with my life and I wouldn't trade any of it for a million dollars.
By reading books you're exposing yourself to other people's mistakes and their insights. That means that you don't have to make the same mistakes because you know where that's going to lead you. You get to skip over awful times and manifest beautiful, positive times.
It's like the ultimate life hack.
And incase you needed more convincing:
